The following is a brief synopsis of what is available (and you are missing) in this section.

racehorse & Carcass ships

SECTION 3 - Nelson's Farthest North

The introduction sets the timeline and background to the attempt on the North Pole and Northwest Passage in 1773, plus the discoveries and scientific achievement arising there from. An original antique engraving of the two expedition ships is fully described, as is the splendid image of the teenaged Horatio Nelson's heroic, if foolhardy, attempt to bring home a Polar bear skin to his father.

The two original antique prints in this section are fully documented to international standard.  The full research information and cataloguing details  however, are available to purchasers only. Please contact us.
